Shelley will discuss the nuts and bolts of an inquiry/PBL classroom that empowers students to take responsibility for their own learning, as well as some basic steps for teachers to begin implementing these practices in their own classrooms. She provides examples from her own classroom in subjects as diverse as science, math, English and technology. Additionally, she’ll discuss how to authentically integrate technology into learning, assessment, and how to help students articulate their learning and thinking.
